The pie was a big hit with my Thanksgiving guest

Vanilla Pie

Packed well in plastic container, very good but it doesn't keep well in the refrigerator. It becomes hard and dry; you almost have to eat it right away.

Thank you for sharing, we would recommend letting it sit out of the cold for a bit before enjoying it. We spoke with M&A Sweet Treats, the Amish Bakers who make this item, and they recommended either freezing the pie then thawing at room temperature, or leaving it out at room temperature. They further indicated that refrigerating this pie will dry it out.
