A PA Dutch Classic

Description

Folks who know scrapple will tell you: ours can’t be beat. Made in kettles with cornmeal and buckwheat flour blended with pork, pork skins, and livers, our Pennsylvania scrapple is the real deal. Pan-fried and paired with maple syrup, this is a Pennsylvania Dutch delicacy not to be missed.
Order scrapple online for yourself or to send to a loved one outside the county and let them experience this uniquely regional pork dish. Although sometimes called the “poor man’s bacon,” we think our Pennsylvania Dutch scrapple is richly flavored to stand on par with any breakfast meat.

As good or better than our homemade

Just had some of yours this morning. It’s as good or better than the panhaus me and our neighbors back in WV made each winter during the annual hog butchering party. I live in Montana now and no one knows what the heck panhaus is, lol. I’ll be ordering from you guys from now on. It’s a little light on the pepper from what I’m used to making but I can remedy that in a few shakes. Thanks guys I look forward to ordering often!

Thank you so much for sharing, we are thrilled to hear it could bring back memories of the past. We are so happy to hear you enjoyed it!

Favorite scrapple

I love this scrapple! The flavor is perfect and the texture is spot on. You can get the edges to crisp up nicely in a frying pan. The bonus is that my gluten intolerant family members can enjoy this too.

We are so glad to hear that your whole family is able to enjoy it!

Good flavor

Flavor is good it’s a little wetter than I thought it would be but I’m a scrapple newb so don’t put too much faith in me

Here are some of the ways we suggest cooking it to get it crispy - Start with 1/4 inch slices of scrapple. Pan fry with 1/4 inch of oil in the pan to create a crispy shell, which prevents crumbling. Or bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes, flipping only once to prevent the scrapple from falling apart. It is also delicious in an air fryer!
