Cooking and Care Instructions

Keep Refrigerated or Frozen. Unopened in the refrigerator product will last for 21 days. If Frozen it must be consumed within 6 months of the "Use or Freeze by " date.
Cooking
Braising- preheat the oven to 450° braise in a braising pan for 2-3 hours. Place your favorite vegetables inside and flavor to your taste.
In a stock pot place ham hock and let water come to a boil. Once the water boils for 2 minutes turn set the pot to simmer for 2-3 hours. season and add veggies of your choice.

Excellent soup hock!

I love making a tasty, hearty bean or pea soup and this ham hock never disappoints. Delicious, tender meat falls off the bone and leaves a rich smoky flavor that’s not too salty after soaking in your broth and dried beans or peas. Perfect for smaller batches and great packaging for the freezer.
