A PA Dutch Favorite

Description

We have received many requests and are happy to announce that our meat pudding is back! Those who know, know. Pan pudding is like scrapple but without buckwheat flour and cornmeal. This pork pudding (sometimes called hog pudding or pan pudding) is the perfect breakfast side for those who haven't forgotten the old ways. Slice the pan pudding and then fry each slice with a little bacon grease in an iron skillet for an especially tasty treat. Perfect with corn mush and maple syrup!

Sister surprise

I ordered this as a surprise for my 95 yo sister who was coming for a visit. She was almost in tears when I showed her the package and the next morning when I made it for breakfast, she ate with her eyes closed, remembering all the times in her youth she ate it for breakfast with our dad, (the original Dutchman!)

Thank you so much for sharing this special moment, we are honored to be part of it.
