OUR STORY

Handcrafted the
Pennsylvania Dutch Way

What began as a family butchering tradition on a Lancaster County farm grew into a lasting legacy of quality and craftsmanship. In 1954, Amos and Mary Stoltzfus brought their handmade meats and Pennsylvania Dutch recipes to the New Castle Farmer’s Market, guided by hard work, family values, and a love of good food.

Three generations later, Stoltzfus Meats still crafts each product with the same care and tradition Amos began on the farm—authentic recipes, time-honored methods, and honest flavor that brings people together.

Our Locations

Located in the heart of Intercourse, just steps from our production facility and the Stoltzfus family homestead. Here you’ll find the same award-winning Pennsylvania Dutch favorites we’ve been crafting for more than 70 years, including smoked meats, scrapple, and sausage.

Inside Stoltzfus Meats & Deli, Amos’ Place offers a welcoming spot to enjoy breakfast and lunch, Monday through Saturday. Guests can gather indoors or outside to enjoy hearty entrées, sandwiches, and other homestyle recipes inspired by our Pennsylvania Dutch roots.

Since 1954, we have proudly served customers at the New Castle Farmers Market, where the Stoltzfus Meats story first began. Today, our five market stands continue to bring Lancaster County flavors and friendly service to Delaware each week.
