Keep Refrigerated. Product can be kept in the refrigerator unopened for 120 days. Once opened the product must be consumed within 7 days. If Frozen product must be consumed within 6 months of the "Use or Freeze by" date.

Our homemade dried beef spends 2 whole days in our smokehouses, resulting in a deep, smoky flavor. Making our smoked dried beef is a time intensive process but each day of curing and smoking is necessary to reach the robust, unmatched flavor our dried beef is famous for. Each pack is half a pound (8 oz.) and available as Sliced Dried Beef or Chipped Dried Beef.

So good

We have purchased both the chipped dried beef and the slices, and each have been excellent however we've used these products (cheese spread, creamed dried beef, sandwiches, etc.). Will definitely buy again!

Dried Beef?

We were a bit disappointed in our order for chipped dried beef. I grew up on it and what I received tasted more like pastrami, which I don't like! It tasted briny rather than smoked and was definitely "wetter" than dried beef is. The packages are marked dried beef, but it wasn't quite right!
